It teaches instead of doing homework

Remmy gives a hint first, then the steps if they're needed, then a similar problem to practice. Teach-me mode is on by default, even for photos of homework. The goal is that your teen understands it on test day. How homework help works.

Privacy, in plain words

• No ads, ever, no advertising ID, and we never sell data.
• Chats are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Homework photos are never stored. They're used to answer and that's it.
• Habits and mood check-ins stay on the phone.
• Memory is short and visible. Remmy keeps a short list of notes, like goals and exams, that your teen can see and delete.
• Delete everything in one tap: Me → Delete everything removes the account and its data right away.
• No account needed to start. Signing in is optional and only used to restore things on a new phone.

Safety settings on by default

• 13+ only. Remmy asks for age before starting and doesn't let younger children continue.
• Everyone is treated as a minor unless they say they're 18 or older, so the safest settings are on.
• Honest AI. Remmy says it's an AI, and any reply can be flagged for review.
• Crisis support. Remmy isn't a therapist. If someone may be in danger, it stops and points to real help, like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US.

Subscriptions

Remmy is free to start with 3 chats. Remmy Plus is a monthly or yearly subscription with a 3-day free trial, sold through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Google Play › Subscriptions or the Apple ID settings. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
