Terms of Use
Effective September 25, 2026
- You must be 13 or older. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian needs to be okay with you using Remmy.
- Remmy is an AI. It can be wrong and it isn’t a doctor, therapist or lawyer.
- Use Remmy to learn, not to cheat or hurt anyone.
- Remmy Plus renews automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings.
1. Who can use Remmy
Remmy is operated by Sonja Jankovikj Gelevska (“we”, “us”). You must be at least 13 years old to use it. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may only use Remmy with the permission of a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these terms. By using Remmy you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Remmy is an AI
Remmy is a computer program, not a person. Its answers are generated by AI and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check important information with your teacher, textbook or another trusted source. Remmy does not give medical, mental health, legal or financial advice.
If you’re in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, contact emergency services (911 in the US) or call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) right away. Remmy is not a crisis service.
3. Using Remmy the right way
Please don’t use Remmy to:
- cheat on tests or exams, or break your school’s rules on AI;
- bully, threaten or harass anyone, or create hateful, sexual or violent content;
- share other people’s private information or photos of other people;
- break the law, or try to hack, overload or copy the app or its AI.
We may limit or close accounts that break these rules.
4. Your content
What you write and the photos you send stay yours. You let us use them only to run Remmy for you (for example, to create replies and remember your goals), as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your data at any time with Me → Delete everything.
5. Remmy Plus subscriptions
- Remmy Plus is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription through the App Store or Google Play. The price is shown before you buy.
- The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you’ll be charged for the first year.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Plus includes fair-use daily limits (for example, a number of messages and photos per day) to keep the service running well for everyone.
6. Changes and availability
We keep improving Remmy, so features may change. We may occasionally pause the service for maintenance or safety. If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll let you know in the app.
7. No warranty
Remmy is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or that it will improve your grades.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or unexpected losses from using Remmy, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Remmy in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be waived.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Remmy and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
10. Apple App Store
If you downloaded Remmy from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where it gives you more protection.
